Basically: Professor of mythology and folklore. Father. Artist. Writer.

The Official Blurb: Ari Berk is a writer, visual artist, and scholar of literature, folklore, and myth. Deeply dedicated to interdisciplinary writing, teaching, and research, Dr. Berk holds degrees in Ancient History, American Indian Studies, and Comparative Literature and Culture. He has studied at Oxford and traveled widely, making friends in many parts of the world. When not writing, he moonlights as Professor of Mythology and Folklore at Central Michigan University and sits on the board of directors of the Mythic Imagination Institute. A former student of Pulitzer Prize-winning author N. Scott Momaday, Ari lives in Michigan with his wife and son and has passed three times through a holed stone.
